Cosmetology

Curriculum: Milady

Textbooks: "Standard Foundation" and "Cosmetology 14th Edition"

Students will have the opportunity to enroll in concurrent enrollment courses offered through Northeastern Junior College in hairstyling, nail care and skin care as they work towards completing their Associates Degree of Cosmetology. After completing the 2 year program, students will then be eligible to sit for the State Board Cosmetologist exam fulfilling the final requirement to becoming a licensed cosmetologist in the state of Colorado. In addition to developing the hands-on skills, students will also develop customer service skills by working with actual clients during open salon hours at the CTE Center.
